These photos were taken during the inaugural concert of the UMKC Trombone Ensemble, directed by Dr. JoDee Davis.  The first photo is of the whole group -- 11 trombones.  The second photo is of the right half of the group during one of the early numbers -- Geremy is in the middle of this group.  In the middle of the second half of the concert, the two Jazz majors in the studio (Geremy and Kevin Cerovich) performed a couple of numbers with a rhythm section -- the combo was put together and "directed" by Paul McKee (who also happens to be married to the aforementioned Dr. Davis).  Mr. McKee also arranged one of the numbers that was performed by the ensemble.

It was a great concert -- lots of variety in the selections -- and such a wonderful sound -- I never would have guessed it if I hadn't heard it for myself.

(click on the thumbnail to see the full-size photo -- I limited the photos to 800 pixels wide -- as usual, let me know if you want a higher-resolution version of any photo)
