Sometime during the fall of 2007 we decided to do some work on our house ... more than just new paint of window treatments ... starting with new floor, appliances, and countertops in the kitchen, we knew we were looking at some serious expenditures ... but there were several things that we weren't going to be able to do (e.g., a third garage) ... and we knew that house no longer fit us and our lifestyle as well as it did when Geremy lived at home ... so we started looking around to see what might be available on the market that would be a better fit ... in the end, we found a house that fits us perfectly, and this set of pages documents the purchase and personalization of that house.
